The pre-requisite for good and harmonious riding is, in addition to the correct seat and application of the aids, the rider’s sensitive influence over the horse. To achieve this, the rider must have a thorough understanding of the basic principles of dressage. In this, the third volume of the FN training series, the basic dressage training is explained. It is not the riding of individual movements, but rather the overall basic knowledge which is necessary not only for dressage but also for all other equestrian disciplines. This video is divided into four separate segments. This makes it possible to view the “Pre-Requisites”, the “Training Scale”, the “Structure of a Training Session” and the “Basic Exercises” as a separate theme and to use each as a specific training aid.
